The Gaza Civil Defense announced on Tuesday the recovery of 35 unidentified bodies from the Sheikh Radwan clinic area in Gaza City, which had been hastily buried during the recent Israeli offensive in the region.
The recovered bodies were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital for sample collection and preservation. The process will be carried out in coordination with international organizations and agencies to help identify the deceased.
The recent Israeli onslaught in Gaza resulted in over 69,000 deaths, more than 170,000 injuries, and approximately 9,500 people reported missing. The attacks also caused extensive damage, destroying nearly 90% of the territory’s civilian infrastructure.
