Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that the death toll from the war since October 2023 has risen to 72,292, following the reporting of four deaths over the past 24 hours.
In a statistical statement, the ministry said hospitals received “four victims, including one newly killed and three bodies recovered, in addition to five injured.”
The ministry periodically reports the recovery of bodies from under rubble, makeshift graves, or areas that are difficult to access due to ongoing Israeli military operations.
It did not specify the circumstances surrounding the latest casualties but noted continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 10, 2025, including shelling and gunfire that have resulted in casualties.
In this context, the ministry said that since October 11, ceasefire violations have resulted in 716 deaths and 1,968 injuries.
