The Gaza Blockade-Breaking Flotilla Committee announced the postponement of its departure from Tunisia’s Sidi Bou Said port until Thursday, citing bad weather conditions and incomplete logistical procedures.
The announcement came as thousands of Tunisians and international activists gathered at the port to support the flotilla, which was scheduled to sail on Wednesday.
In a notable development, the Tunisian Ministry of Interior announced that “the attack that occurred yesterday on one of the ships anchored in the port was an orchestrated attack,” confirming that investigations are underway to uncover all circumstances of the incident and those behind it.
The flotilla, with its broad international participation, aims to highlight the siege imposed on Gaza and demand its lifting.
