Two Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli occupation airstrike on a residential area in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Local sources said the strike destroyed a civilian home, causing extensive damage.

Rescue teams continue to recover victims from the rubble amid growing local and international condemnation of what has been described as a “grave breach” of the humanitarian truce.
