Republican U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham announced on Wednesday that President Donald Trump has approved a bill to impose sanctions on countries purchasing Russian oil at low prices.

Graham shared the news in a post on the social media platform X following his meeting with Trump.

He said, “After a highly productive meeting, (Trump) approved the Russia sanctions bill, which has bipartisan support. Senator Richard Blumenthal and others and I have been working on it for months.”
