Mossad chief David Barnea visited Doha on Thursday for talks with the Qatari prime minister on resuming negotiations to end the war in Gaza, following initial approval from Hamas.

In Egypt, a Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya arrived for discussions with senior officials over a deal that could involve releasing all hostages or reaching a partial agreement.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called for a complete Israeli withdrawal from the Strip, disarmament of factions under Palestinian Authority control, reconstruction, general elections within a year, and a halt to settlement expansion and attacks on holy sites.
