Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said that the recent escalation by the Israeli occupation constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement and aims to obstruct efforts to stabilize the situation.

Qassem called on mediators and guarantors to compel the occupation to implement what was agreed upon, particularly regarding the opening of the Rafah crossing and halting ongoing violations.

The movement reaffirmed its commitment to the agreement, holding the occupation responsible for any new field escalation.
