The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said Saturday that 70 Palestinians have been killed since dawn Friday amid ongoing Israeli bombardment across the enclave.
The ministry said the fatalities included eight bodies recovered from under the rubble, nine people who succumbed to their wounds, and nine others killed while waiting for humanitarian aid.
Israeli strikes have continued to hit homes and displacement camps, alongside live fire against civilians, further worsening the humanitarian toll.
According to official figures, the death toll from Israel’s offensive on Gaza, ongoing since October 7, 2023, has now reached about 64,300 killed and more than 162,005 wounded.
