Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, stated that any discussion on Lebanon’s national defense strategy must begin with the Israeli occupation’s commitment to the ceasefire agreement signed on November 27.

He reaffirmed the group’s refusal to disarm, insisting that “the resistance remains a bulwark against the Israeli expansionist project.”

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Tel Aviv is prepared to withdraw from Lebanon if Hezbollah disarms.
