The Iranian army announced on Tuesday that it had carried out strikes targeting petrochemical facilities in Israel, as well as U.S. military sites in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
In a statement, the military said the operations were conducted overnight using suicide drones, describing them as retaliation for U.S.-Israeli strikes on petrochemical facilities and infrastructure داخل Iran.
The statement said petrochemical sites near Dimona in Israel were targeted as part of the response.
It added that the attacks also hit a U.S. Navy maintenance and repair facility at Jebel Ali port in the UAE, as well as radar systems and U.S. military positions at Ahmad Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait.
No immediate official responses were issued by the countries concerned regarding the Iranian claims.
