The Iranian Red Crescent announced Monday that the death toll from U.S. airstrikes carried out in support of the Israeli occupation has risen to 555 since early Saturday, noting that 131 residential areas were targeted.

The previous toll had stood at 201 dead and 747 wounded.

Tehran continues to respond with missile and drone launches, amid broad regional escalation and mutual accusations over nuclear and missile programs.
