Iran executed a citizen on Saturday after he was convicted of working for Israel’s foreign intelligence service, Mossad.

Iranian media reported that Aqil Kashavarz was found guilty of “spying for Israel, cooperating with Tel Aviv on intelligence matters, monitoring sensitive Iranian military and security sites, and photographing them.”

The outlets said Kashavarz had contacts with the Israeli army and Mossad.
