Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Monday that it had carried out a fresh round of precision missile strikes targeting Israel, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing military tensions between the two countries.

According to a statement published by Iran’s official news agency (IRNA), the latest strikes targeted “Israeli intelligence facilities and command centers” using advanced missile systems and intelligence-guided operations. The IRGC claimed the attack disrupted Israeli air defense systems, describing it as part of a broader retaliation campaign.

This operation is the eighth wave of missile launches by Iran in the current confrontation, which Tehran says is a direct response to Israeli airstrikes that recently hit military and nuclear facilities on Iranian soil.

While the Israeli government has not yet issued an official response, local media reported explosions in several areas, with air defense sirens activated in major cities.
