Iran’s Foreign Ministry announced Monday that Tehran will hold a new round of talks with the International Atomic Energy Agency in the coming days, after suspending cooperation since last July.

The announcement follows Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in June, which Tel Aviv described as “preemptive.”

Meanwhile, Yahya Rahim Safavi, senior advisor to Iran’s armed forces chief, warned that a new war could erupt “at any moment.”
