Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that Iran would stop targeting neighboring countries unless attacks against Tehran are launched from their territories.

In a televised address, he said strikes that hit some regional states were part of a military response to U.S. and Israeli attacks, stressing that Iran has no intention of attacking neighboring countries.

He also reaffirmed that military retaliation against the United States and the Israeli occupation would continue.
