Iran announced on Wednesday that it launched advanced Khorramshahr missiles toward US military bases in the region as part of its ongoing military escalation.

In a statement, the Iranian military said the launches were carried out during the 37th wave of “Operation True Promise 4.”

“The launch of new Khorramshahr missiles carrying warheads weighing two tons continues toward the bases of the US terrorist army in the region,” the statement said.

The military added that the missiles used in the operation are equipped with heavy warheads weighing up to two tons.
