Iran Says It Targeted Aluminum Plants in UAE and Bahrain; Bahrain Reports Minor Injuries

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said early Sunday it carried out missile and drone strikes on aluminum plants in the UAE and Bahrain, claiming they are linked to US military industries.

According to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency, the strikes targeted the EMAL plant in the UAE and the Alba facility in Bahrain, accusing the US and Israel of using Gulf-based infrastructure to strike Iran’s industrial sites.

The statement claimed the facilities play a role in US military industrial production, noting that EMAL is one of the world’s largest aluminum producers with a capacity of 1.3 million tons, while Alba includes investments from US companies.

Meanwhile, Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) confirmed its facility was attacked, reporting two minor injuries, according to Bahrain’s state news agency.
