The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it is prepared for a “long war” in response to continuing U.S. and Israeli attacks.

At the same time, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that several countries have begun mediation efforts to end the war, but stressed that any initiative must address the party that initiated the conflict.

The remarks come amid ongoing military escalation since U.S. and Israeli airstrikes targeted sites inside Iran.
