Iran–U.S. Escalation: Injuries in Bahrain and One Killed in Iraqi Kurdistan

The Bahraini Interior Ministry said three people were injured and a university building was damaged in the Muharraq area after missile debris fell in the area.

Authorities also reported damage to a desalination plant following a drone strike.

The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force said it has intercepted and destroyed 243 aerial threats since the attacks began, including missiles and drones targeting the kingdom.

In Iraq, a security guard was killed, and another was wounded in a drone attack targeting Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan region.

Officials stated that the strike occurred late on Saturday, causing damage to the airport without identifying the party responsible.

It marks the first fatal attack in the Kurdistan region linked to the escalating Iran–U.S.–Israel confrontation.
