Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said on Monday that Tehran would deliver a “comprehensive” response to any military attack against the country.
Speaking at a press conference, as reported by Iran’s Tasnim news agency, Baghaei was responding to a question about U.S. preparations for a potential strike on Iran.
He stressed that Iran has confidence in its capabilities and past experience, including the June 2025 war, noting that the country is now in a stronger position.
“If Iran is attacked, its response will be broader in scope and more painful,” Baghaei said.
