Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian rejected a U.S. proposal to end uranium enrichment in exchange for only a three-month suspension of sanctions, calling it “unacceptable.”
He confirmed that indirect talks mediated by Oman have stalled since June after a U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Meanwhile, a Russian–Chinese draft resolution to delay sanctions reimposition failed at the UN Security Council, paving the way for measures to resume starting Saturday.
