Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Saturday that it had uncovered and dismantled a network linked to Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency in the northeastern province of Khorasan.

According to a statement carried by Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, the IRGC’s Imam Reza Corps said that following “precise and sustained intelligence operations,” carried out in coordination with the judiciary, eight individuals allegedly connected to Mossad were identified and arrested.

The group was reportedly planning to target both civilian and military officials inside Iran. The IRGC emphasized that the operation was part of its broader efforts to safeguard national security and counter hostile intelligence activities.
