Iraq’s Interior Ministry announced Monday evening that Iraqi and Lebanese intelligence services coordinated to uncover and dismantle one of Lebanon’s largest Captagon factories.

The rare security cooperation comes a month after the Lebanese army discovered a facility containing massive quantities of the narcotic stimulant in the town of Yammouneh in eastern Bekaa, a hub for drug production and trafficking for years.
