Israel on Monday deported 171 additional activists from the “Global Resilience Flotilla,” which had been carrying humanitarian aid to the war-torn Gaza Strip, including Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, according to the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
In a statement posted on X, the ministry said that “171 additional agitators from the Hamas–Resilience Flotilla, including Greta Thunberg, were deported today from Israel to Greece and Slovakia,” the AFP reported.
The deported activists reportedly hold citizenship from several countries, including Greece, Italy, France, the United States, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
