The Israeli Army carried out airstrikes and artillery shelling early Tuesday on several areas across the Gaza Strip, in what were described as continued violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 2025.

Witnesses said Israeli artillery targeted the eastern outskirts of the Zeitoun neighborhood and the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in Gaza City, while naval vessels fired toward the coast.

Since the ceasefire took effect, Israeli violations have reportedly resulted in the deaths of 648 Palestinians and injuries to more than 1,700 others.
