Israeli Army Raids Palestinian Towns in West Bank, Closes Gates Northeast of Jerusalem

On Sunday evening, the Israeli army raided several Palestinian towns and neighborhoods in the occupied West Bank, with no arrests reported.

According to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa, the raids were concentrated in central West Bank areas, targeting multiple villages in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorates. Among the locations raided were Nabi Saleh, where shops were searched and security cameras inspected, as well as the neighborhoods of Al-Jinan and Jabal Al-Tawil in Al-Bireh city, and the villages of Beitin and Dora Al-Qar’ east and north of Ramallah.

Northeast of Jerusalem, the Israeli army closed two metal gates at the town entrances, set up military checkpoints, and prevented vehicle passage in both directions, causing traffic disruptions, according to Wafa.
