The Israeli army announced on Monday that 11 of its soldiers have been killed and 375 others wounded since the start of the war on Iran on February 28.
According to a statement published on its official website, since the launch of “Operation Roar of the Lion,” 375 soldiers have been injured, including 27 in serious condition, 56 moderately wounded, and 292 with minor injuries.
The army did not specify where the injuries occurred, but it has been reporting daily casualties since the beginning of military operations in Lebanon on March 2.
It also confirmed that 11 soldiers were killed in fighting in southern Lebanon, where clashes continue with Hezbollah, which has been launching rocket and drone attacks alongside ground engagements with Israeli forces.
This brings the total number of Israeli military fatalities since October 2023 to 936, including 472 killed during ground operations in the Gaza Strip that began on October 27, according to military data.
