Israel’s public broadcaster said on Saturday that Israel had targeted the office of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as part of joint airstrikes with the United States on Iran.
The broadcaster said the strikes hit sovereign sites in Tehran, including the intelligence ministry and the office of the Supreme Leader.
Multiple explosions were heard in the Iranian capital, according to local media and witnesses.
There was no immediate comment from Iranian authorities on the reported targets or casualties, and Washington has not formally confirmed details of the sites struck.
