Israeli sources reported on Friday that the country’s intelligence agencies failed to infiltrate the leadership of Hamas, contributing to the absence of early warnings ahead of the recent Al-Aqsa flood.

According to Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel’s security establishment admitted that the Shin Bet, Unit 504, and Mossad had no significant assets within Hamas leadership for the past 20 years, highlighting a long-standing intelligence gap.
