On Sunday, Israeli occupation forces advanced into the towns of Breiqa and Beer Ajam in Quneitra’s southern countryside, deploying an armored vehicle and two troop carriers.
The incursion comes amid ongoing movements by the occupation in the area, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, international law, and UN resolutions on state sovereignty.
For years, the countryside of Quneitra, Daraa, and Damascus has witnessed repeated Israeli incursions following the occupation’s control of the buffer zone.
