Warplanes of the Israeli occupation launched multiple airstrikes Monday on Al-Aishiya, Al-Mahmoudiya, and Al-Jarmaq in southern Lebanon’s Jezzine district, amid heavy drone activity over Al-Zahrani and Beirut.
The occupation army said the strikes targeted Hezbollah infrastructure, accusing the group of rebuilding its military networks.
The escalation followed warnings from U.S. envoy Tom Brack, who cautioned that Israel might take unilateral military action if Lebanon fails to curb Hezbollah’s armed presence.
