Japan recorded an unprecedented temperature of 41.6 degrees Celsius in Isesaki City on Tuesday, surpassing the previous record of 41.2 degrees Celsius set the previous week.

The Meteorological Agency warned of continued rising temperatures, especially after 17 records were broken in June and July, amid warnings about the severe impacts of climate change.
