A Jordanian official announced Sunday that Jordan and the United Arab Emirates jointly conducted an airdrop operation, delivering approximately 25 tons of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip—their first such mission in several months. The official emphasized that the airdrop is not intended to replace aid deliveries by land.
Meanwhile, humanitarian aid trucks began entering Gaza from Egypt via the Rafah crossing early Sunday. In response to mounting international pressure and escalating warnings from relief organizations about the risk of famine in the blockaded territory, the Israeli military announced daily suspensions of its operations in designated areas of Gaza and opened new corridors to facilitate aid deliveries.
