Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev began a two-day official visit to Ankara on Monday, at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, according to a statement by Fahrettin Altun, Head of the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Directorate.
During the visit, Presidents Tokayev and Erdoğan are expected to co-chair the fifth meeting of the Turkey–Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
The two sides are also set to sign a number of agreements and official documents aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across political, economic, and commercial sectors.
