Kenyan authorities recovered five bodies from shallow graves suspected to be linked to an extremist religious sect in Kilifi County, southeast Kenya.

Search teams continue excavations near Malindi, where hundreds of sect followers were discovered dead two years ago.

Officials expect more bodies as investigations proceed.
