North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has visited a factory producing new multiple rocket launchers, praising the systems for what he described as their ability to “annihilate the enemy,” according to the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
The visit came a day after Pyongyang announced the test launch of two long-range strategic missiles, in a show of force that KCNA said demonstrated the country’s “combat readiness” in the face of external threats.
KCNA added that the moves reflect North Korea’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its military capabilities and advance its missile systems.
