North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Friday ordered an expansion and modernization of the country’s missile production next year and the construction of additional factories to meet growing demand for munitions, according to state media.

The state-run Korean Central News Agency reported that during a visit to munitions factories with senior officials, Kim said the facilities must “increase production capacity” to meet the needs of the missile and artillery forces, emphasizing the construction of new munitions factories.
