Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam is set to make his first official visit to Europe on Thursday with a one-day trip to Paris, where he will meet French President Emmanuel Macron and other senior officials, a high-level political source told Anadolu Agency.
The visit, which has been pre-arranged, reflects France’s sustained interest in Lebanon and comes as the country faces deep economic and political challenges.
Salam’s talks in Paris are expected to focus on bilateral cooperation and international support for Lebanon’s reform agenda.
