The Israeli occupation launched intense airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs, targeting several neighborhoods including Haret Hreik, Al-Msharrafieh, and Hayy Al-Jamous.

The Israeli army said it had carried out around 26 waves of airstrikes since the start of the latest escalation, claiming the killing of 70 Hezbollah fighters and the bombardment of more than 500 targets in Lebanon.

Meanwhile, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam warned of a humanitarian catastrophe after thousands of residents were displaced following Israeli evacuation warnings.
