Lebanese President Joseph Aoun accused Hezbollah of attempting “to drag Lebanon into a full-scale war with Israel by launching rockets toward Israeli territory”.

He warned that such actions threaten the stability of the Lebanese state amid ongoing violence and instability.

Aoun said recent Israeli airstrikes have displaced more than 600,000 people and caused over 400 deaths and more than 1,100 injuries.

Meanwhile, Syria’s transitional president, Ahmad al‑Sharaa, expressed support for Lebanese efforts to disarm Hezbollah to promote stability in the region.
