The Algerian Football Federation announced that Granada goalkeeper Luca Zidane has officially obtained Algerian sporting nationality, following FIFA’s approval.

The son of football legend Zinedine Zidane will now be available for coach Jamal Bietković in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Luca previously represented France’s youth teams, winning the 2015 U-17 European Championship.
