French President Emmanuel Macron affirmed that France’s recognition of a Palestinian state “will not be hindered by any attack or attempt at annexation,” while strongly criticizing the U.S. decision to deny visas to Palestinian officials attending the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Macron described the move as “unacceptable” and urged Washington to reverse it.
In a post on X, he wrote: “We call for this measure to be canceled and for Palestinian representation to be guaranteed in accordance with the Host Country Agreement.”
