South Lebanon witnessed a major escalation, as an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle in Zoutr al-Sharqiyah killed one person.

The Ministry of Health reported that five civilians were injured in Shuqra after an Israeli drone dropped a sound bomb inside the town.

The attacks later expanded to include Rachaya al-Fakhar, al-Mahmoudiyah, the vicinity of Jarmaq, as well as Mount Sajad, Jabbour Heights, and the outskirts of Kfarhamam.

Additional strikes targeted the outskirts of Shmistar and Taria in the Beqaa Valley, amid fears of a widening confrontation.

The Israeli army claimed it had killed 13 members of Hamas in an airstrike on the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp in southern Lebanon.
