A Lebanese citizen was martyred on Sunday when an Israeli airstrike targeted a car between the towns of Al-Sawwaneh and Khirbet Selm in the Marjayoun district of southern Lebanon, in a new breach of the ceasefire agreement.

The Health Ministry said the victim was driving the vehicle at the time of the strike.

The attack came a day after three people were killed in similar raids amid growing tensions along the southern border.
