Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum denied that her government has any information confirming that drones belonging to Mexican drug cartels breached U.S. airspace, responding to accusations from Washington.
The denial came after a U.S. official announced that the military intercepted drones that entered the airspace of Texas, leading to the temporary closure of El Paso airport.
The move sparked broad political debate over security coordination and decision-making mechanisms.
