Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman were targeted by ballistic missiles and drone attacks, in a new escalation that caused limited injuries and material damage.
In Saudi Arabia, the Defense Ministry said it intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched toward the Riyadh region shortly after midnight Friday, confirming that air defenses neutralized the threat before impact.
In the UAE, authorities reported intercepting incoming missiles and drones, while the Abu Dhabi Media Office said three fires broke out near the Khalifa Economic Zones (KEZAD) due to debris from a successfully intercepted missile.
The incident resulted in five injuries among Indian nationals, ranging from moderate to minor, with authorities continuing to respond to the aftermath.
The attacks come nearly one month into the ongoing regional war, as hostilities continue to escalate across multiple fronts.
