Morocco’s Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit announced new security measures to ensure the smooth organization of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which the country will co-host.

Plans include establishing an African police cooperation center and strengthening international coordination.

The preparations also cover infrastructure upgrades — stadiums, roads, and railways — aiming to enhance Morocco’s global image and maximize the events’ economic and tourism benefits.
