Morocco opened its Arab Cup 2025 campaign with an important 3–1 victory over Comoros in the first round of Group B, which also includes Saudi Arabia and Oman.

The win gives the Atlas Lions their first three points in the tournament hosted by Doha until December 18.

In Group C, Egypt and Kuwait played out a 1–1 draw at Lusail Stadium, sharing points in their opening match of the group stage.
