Morocco’s General Directorate of National Security announced Wednesday it thwarted 34,211 irregular migration attempts in 2025, involving 7,808 foreigners from African, Arab, and Asian nationalities.

Security efforts dismantled 105 networks organizing migration and human trafficking—a 2% drop from 2024—with 415 brokers arrested and 684 forged travel documents seized.
