Morocco is set to honor its under-20 national football team with a royal and public reception on Wednesday, following their historic triumph at the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The Atlas Lions secured their first-ever global title for Morocco and the Arab world on Monday in Chile, defeating Argentina 2-0 in the final.
According to the Ministry of the Royal Palaces, members of the team will be welcomed by King Mohammed VI at the Royal Palace in Rabat, in recognition of their unprecedented achievement and to celebrate their success with the nation.
